The Reception class visit Shooting Butts, Cannock Chase, Staffordshire, to conduct Nature Study activities. The children look at habitats that wild life live in during a stroll through the wood. Whilst in the wood they build a den for their teddy bears similar to what the animals would build. They talk about all the things that animals need to survive.

As a reward for their hard work the teddies are then treated to a picnic and some fun and games afterwards.
