| On October 5th 2000 we held our Harvest service. We
chose to hold the service to coincide with national poetry day. The
children performed poems from well known authors and poems that they had
written themselves. Year 6 concluded the event with two harvest songs
they had written themselves. You can read a selection of the children's
poems below. The produce that was kindly donated is shown in the pictures underneath
        and was presented to

BURGERS, BURGERS BURGERSI work all day, I work all night,
To eat the food I have to eat. That's too nice.
And even thought there seems to be,
Another burger left for me. That's too nice.
'Cause in my dreams I have a van
Eat all the Burgers that I can.
So then I wouldn't have to buy another single burger again.
Burgers, Burgers, Burgers, lots of burgers,IN A PURPLE VAN.
Burgers, Burgers, Burgers, lots of burgers,
 IN A PURPLE VAN.
I work all day, I work all night,To eat hotdogs I have to eat. That's too nice.
And even thought there seems to be,
Another hot dog left for me. That's too nice.
'Cause in my dreams I have a van
If I was a hotdog man.
So then I wouldn't have to buy another single hotdog again.
Hotdogs, hotdogs, hotdogs, lots of hotdogs,IN A PURPLE VAN.
Hotdogs, hotdogs, hotdogs, lots of hotdogs,
 IN A PURPLE VAN.
By Christopher Maddox HARVEST TIME Harvest time is on it's way,People reap their corn today.
Farmers sow and grow their seeds,
Think of those who are in need.
Farmers sow their corn and crops,Then they sell it to the shops.
When it turns to harvest time,
The food is yours, it's yours an mine
