This
week we had a special visitor, he was from the NSPCC, which is a charity
that looks after children that are abused or are poorly treated. The NSPCC
stands for National
Society for the Prevention
of Cruelty to Children.
The man who came explained about what the NSPCC does he also had some
volunteers who did a performance which explained about adults neglecting
children. It was called Not Now Bernard. It was about a boy who had made
the football team he tried to tell his dad but he was ignored he then
tried to tell his mum ignored him but she ignored him to. We discussed
about how the child might feel and there were some brilliant thoughts. We are going to help by
having a sponsored spelling test. We have to get as many sponsors as
possible. If we get a certain amount of sponsors then we will receive a
prize. We
hope to get as many sponsors as possible and raise as much money as
possible in aid of the NSPCC. By
