It has been a winter never to forget at Friarswood School. For the first time in ages we have actually had snow!

The first day that we had snow everyone was having snowball fights until they were banned. This week we have had yet again more snow, we built snowmen against the wall. Mr. Selby our head teacher said that we could throw snowballs at the snowmen instead of at each other.

We had plenty of fun playing in the snow this week but should we be allowed to throw snowballs at each other? Well, we think that the teachers shouldn’t let us throw snowballs because if the snow has ice in it then it could really hurt somebody. We wondered what the other children think?  We asked some of the pupils of our school what they thought. Amelia Hopley said “Yes and no really because its not really safe and yes because its really fun” Catherine Managh said “It’s sad that we don’t get to throw snowballs.”

Sadly the snow has now nearly gone but hopefully we will have some more before spring.
