This is Lily Martin and I’m back to tell you how the skipping event went. We all skipped in our classes, the year 3 and 4 class skipped first, next it was the year 5 and 6 (that’s the class that I’m in.) The last class to skip was the year 4 and 5. Mrs. Riley (The P.E teacher) and Mr. Selby (the headteacher) were the people skipping with us.

The children were asked to split into groups of 3. In your groups you had to decide who was number 1, 2 and 3. One of the teachers called out 1 of the 3 numbers. If you were that number then you had to skip until another number was called out. We carried on doing this for a while and then we had a little break. Then we started to skip again. Altogether we skipped for about 30 minutes. Everyone was really tired. The next nearly everyone in the juniors was complaining about their legs hurting. All of us children were complaining and we’d only had 1 lesson. The 2 teachers must have felt terrible because they had been skipping for 3 whole lessons!!!

As soon as all of the sponsor money has been returned we will publish a final total of the amount we raised.
