Everyone at Friarswood Primary School is busy getting ready for Christmas, which is just around the corner! Many activities are being planned and prepared to make this Christmas a special time where there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Maybe you enjoy listening to wonderful choirs full of angels! Well, come and listen to the Friarswood Choir!

CHOIR

The Friarswood Choir have been practising extra hard for this time of the year. They have been getting together every Monday after school and also on some Wednesdays and dinner times. They will be performing both at the Roebuck Centre in Newcastle (On 5th December) and at St. Giles Church (On 11th December). You are free to come along and enjoy the fun!

Or maybe you love shopping! So come along to our mega-cool Friarswood Christmas Fayre and have the shopping spree of your dreams.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE

There’s everything at the Friarswood Christmas Fayre (Well, nearly!) Everything is cheaper than in the cheapest of the cheapest shops in the world (Ok, we lie a bit). But we do know that this Fayre is a great place where you can find quite good deals!

·       There’s Santa’s Grotto (For all ages!)

·        Refreshments: Drinks, Sweets, even hot, salty sizzling chips that will make your mouth water and many more refreshments!

·       Raffle (Where you can win £100 for first prize and many other prizes such as big Christmas hampers stuffed with gorgeous food for your taste buds to tingle at!)

·       Stalls full of many different kinds of things (You’re sure to find something you like!)

·       Games (Have fun challenging yourself to these hard and daring games!)

·       The greatest and most fantastic auction you’ve ever been to! (Well, maybe that’s not exactly true!). But anyway, you will have fun we assure you!

Or perhaps you just enjoy watching something seated down in a comfy, fur arm chair (Ok, maybe they’re not exactly comfy and furry arm chairs, I mean they’re more like plastic and they’re not exactly on the soft side). But anyway, we can offer you a seat to watch our magnificent Friarswood Christmas Service.

 CHRISTMAS SERVICE

The Friarswood Christmas Service (On 18th December) is full of many different interesting things. There are songs, a play, music, choirs and something that every class has contributed. It is a great time that can’t be missed (If you can make it. It’s at 9:30 am). We hope you can come and enjoy what us as a school have created.

We would be so happy if you could try to make it to as many as our activities as you can!
