On the 9th
February 2004 the year 6 class went on an educational visit to a
place called Stanley Head. We had to stay there for 5 days and 4
nights, during our visit there we had a lot of new experiences. Some
of the activities that we did there were scary and challenging,
other activities were a bit easier but all of the activities were a
lot of fun.
The most
challenging thing that we had to do there was the high rope course,
where you were very high up in the air and you had to do obstacles
up in a tree. All the time you were on the safety rope but it still
felt like you were going to fall. On Wednesday we had to make our
own meal for lunch and at the beginning of the week we had to make
our own bed (which proved to be very hard.)
The whole week was brill
and we learnt a lot about independence. Well done to anyone who took
part in something at Stanley Head and a big Thank You to everyone
who taught us there as well.
